End of 2016 in Gothenburg

Varobacka - Gothenburg - Gommet
New Gregorian Year.
New Beginning.
New Chapter.

"Gott Nytt år!" Shouts us on the street of Gothenburg, while lighting fireworks that have been selling like crazy all over town.

The night was wet and cloudy, but it didn't stop us from lighting fireworks at midnight.

Explosions of sounds that scares the dogs and beautiful colourful flowery lights up in the cloudy night sky.

HAPPY NEW GREGORIAN YEAR, EVERYBODY!

The winter wasn't so cold yet, so the week before Mats and I moved out of Väröbacka, we spent a weekend hiking and camping with Jimmy around an area called Gommet, just north of Gothenburg. We walked 12-13 kms in the mossy green forest and camped the night by a beautiful lake.

I love this beautiful wise mossy tree.

The mysterious mist hovering over one of the lakes we walked by

By the cliff enjoying the amazing view full of mist, yet we can still see the beautiful scenery slightly hiding amongst the mist.

After finishing the last week working at the rims and tyres workshop in Väröbacka, we headed up to Gothenburg. We celebrated a no white Christmas with Mats' family and Jimmy. It was a stormy Christmas Eve and most people in Sweden knew that it was going to be a bad weather. How did everyone guessed it?

Well, apparently Christmas weather is the same weather as the name day that falls on the 1st of December. So, unfortunately, there was no white christmas again.

Frosty Väröbacka just before we left

Misty and frosty Väröbacka. Bye for now.

The night before Christmas Eve, we  had an early Christmas dinner with Peter (on the right) and Jolene (on the left) at Helena's (in the middle) apartment

It's 3pm on Christmas Eve! Time for everybody in Sweden to sit down in front of the television and keep up the tradition watching Disney cartoons that play the same thing every year.

So, cheers for a new beginning in a new gregorian year.

May we all grow stronger and wiser.
May we all unite more together away from the illusion of separation.
Because, We Are One.
