Where Thor Landed - Torslanda

Torslanda - Gothenburg (Sweden)
February, February, February.. What a month!

Wow! I must say, February's energy was quite full on. It was so strong, so many of us struggled with the amount of energy that influenced us immensely. Meditating a lot and walking out in nature really helps overcoming this intense emotional energy flow.

Throughout the month of February, Mats and I remained living in Torslanda with our friend Alex and his dog Kraban, who I call Krubby Wubby.

Torslanda, which is translated in english as Thor's landing, is an interesting area as it appears to be its own little town outside of Gothenburg. Although, even though Torslanda community has asked to be a separate town from Gothenburg, Gothenburg has a hard time letting go of Torslanda because the main industrial area of Volvo is located in Torslanda. Volvo is probably one of the main source of income in Gothenburg. So Torslanda remains a suburb of Gothenburg City. So they say.

The surrounding itself plenty of forest, which is nice. I was surprised when Mats showed me his old primary school which was very open and surrounded by the forest. That made me wonder back of all the schools I went to in Indonesia and Australia where all the schools were fenced around.
"It must be so easy for you guys to ditch school!" I said.
Then I wondered, what about the pedophiles?

Anyway..
On the 15th of February, Mats and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary together. It's really interesting to think back and realize how long we've been living nomadic together.
That day, we went out for a long walk with Krubby Wubby and made some super delicious vegan sausage rolls for dinner with walnuts as the main ingredient. It really brings back memories of my time back in primary school in Sydney, when i used to buy sausage rolls from the cafeteria, but these ones tasted even better and it's so healthy, definitely guilt free.

The super duper extremely delicious and healthy vegan sausage rolls. My mouth is watering remembering how it tasted. Craving box, check! Baby and mama happy :-)
Waking up in the morning with Krubby Wubby sleeping on my feet, keeping them warm. Such a little cutey!
Going for our walk in to the forest. Apparently rhino looking horses aren't allowed to enter.
The frozen lake
We tested walking on the lake and it was walkable! Yaaaaaaay! Krubby Wubby is definitely having fun.
My first time walking on a frozen lake. So exciting!

A walk in the woods

Mats' primary school behind the trees
Gone for a walk with Krubby Wubby and he found another frozen lake to walk over
An interesting looking church close to the square dated 1780

Beautiful magnificent tree beside the church at the cemetery at Torslanda Torg
I've been seeing these trees a few times now in Sweden. It's such an interesting tree. I love it.
